RBS Apprenticeship Insight Day (Females)

In promotion of diversity and inclusion, RBS is working with
Skills Development Scotland to run an Insight Day for schools in
the Edinburgh and Lothian areas. This will take place at their
headquarters, RBS Gogarburn on Thursday 7th June. The purpose of
this is to promote their apprentice programme to young female
pupils, although male pupils are also more than welcome to
The day itself will be informative and fun-filled for pupils. It
will consist of tours of the campus and departments, various
presentations giving details about the apprenticeship recruitment
process, a female senior leader talk and an interactive simulation.
Pupils will also get the chance to engage with some current
apprentices to ask any questions they may have about the
RBS apprenticeship programmes are a brilliant opportunity for
school leavers to gain valuable work experience while thriving in a
diverse and exciting environment. This could be the start of a life
long career and is a wonderful alternative to higher education.
Apprentices would work towards gaining a recognised qualification
alongside gaining experience in their day job in the bank, all
while earning a generous starting salary. RBS will be providing
both lunch and transport for any pupils wishing to attend.
