This is a great opportunity to kickstart your career as it gives you the chance to progress into recruitment or administration after completion of your apprenticeship. You will work towards SCQF Level 6 in Business and Administration.

Environment:
 
We are looking for a young enthusiastic individual to join our expanding team. You will have the opportunity to learn about different aspects of the business such as administration and recruitment.
 
What might a day in this role look like?
 
  • Dealing with emails
  • Advertising of vacancies
  • Sourcing job boards for suitable candidates
  • Booking and conducting interviews
  • Giving and receiving feedback from both clients and job applicants
  • Client meetings
  • Holding open days for clients where interested job-seekers can find out about the company and register their interest
  • Registering candidates
  • Checking of ID and eligibility to work in the UK
  • Attending exhibitions and networking meetings
  • Sales calls and business development.
 
What will I learn?
 
SCQF Level 6 in Business and Administration.
 
What qualifications/skills are required?
 
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Word processing skills
  • Ability to follow instructions and organise yourself to complete tasks fully and on time
  • Ability to use initiative to think through problems to find solutions
  • Ability to check for accuracy and give attention to detail
  • Ability to answer, speak confidently and take messages on the phone
  • Knowledge of spreadsheets, word processing and databases
  • Proficient in using a computer, especially Word, Excel and MS Office.
