Based in our office in Loanhead, the role requires working closely with our Management and Projects team and is responsible for ensuring that all administration tasks are carried out in a timely and effective manner. You will work towards SCQF Level 6 in Business and Administration.

Environment:
 
Based in our office in Loanhead, the role requires working closely with our Management and Projects team and is responsible for ensuring that all administration tasks are carried out in a timely and effective manner. You may also be required to provide administration support to the wider business when required. Core working hours are 8am - 5pm Monday to Thursday and 8am - 3pm on Friday.
 
What might a day in this role look like?
 
Main duties and responsibilities are:
 
  • using Microsoft Word to compile O&M manuals/documents and health & Safety files
  • updating spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel
  • utilising a bespoke software system to create electrical certifications
  • creating labels online by Data Entry
  • answering the telephone
  • printing documents and drawings
  • Ad-hoc tasks as and when required.
 
What will I learn?
 
You will work towards SCQF Level 6 in Business and Administration.
 
What qualifications/skills are required?
 
  • Ability to prioritise and organise own work whilst working on a variety of tasks
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively within a team
  • High level of professionalism, self-motivation and organisation
  • Confident in liaising with both office and site personnel if required
  • Attention to detail and problem solving skills
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills
  • Knowledge of Excel (preferable but not essential).
