(If eligible, interns can remain on benefit or access a college bursary) Employer: Edinburgh Project SEARCH Closing Date: 12 noon on Monday 28 April This programme aims to prepare young people with disabilities aged between 16 and 29 years for full-time, competitive employment. You will take part in 3 x 10-week internships with the host employer (Edinburgh Council and Virgin Hotels Edinburgh or NHS Lothian) over 38 weeks, gaining 600+ hours of work practice. You will acquire competitive, marketable and transferable skills, and build communication, teamwork and problem-solving skills. The programme starts in August 2026 and lasts for one academic year. |
