​Starting in September 2023, you will be based at our state of the art contact centre at South Gyle. Throughout the programme, you will have the chance to study a variety of interesting modules and develop important skills such as handling complaints, understanding customer service principles and much more. You will work towards SCQF Level 6 in Customer Services.

Starting in September 2023, the programme is based at our state of the art contact centre at South Gyle.
 
What might a day in this role look like?
 
These critical telephone and chat based roles are central to our success so require individuals who aspire to be part of a team which is focused on making our business great through supporting customers and taking ownership for resolving their enquiries from first call to conclusion. You will gain valuable workplace experience as well as transferrable skills. Career development opportunities are available on successful completion of the programme.
 
What will I learn?
 
As with all of our customer operations roles, we provide a structured training programme to equip you with a broad curriculum of experiences and knowledge which will allow you to develop your skills and provide you with a number of career development opportunities across our different teams. We will also support you through the programme whilst you complete SCQF Level 6 in Customer Services.
 
What qualifications/skills are required?
 
We are looking for passionate and talented individuals who we will develop to deliver a consistently exceptional customer service experience.

  • Ideally, you will be educated to minimum National 5 or equivalent
  • Aged 16 - 24 (applicants with a disability or care experienced up to the age of 29)
  • Positive, reliable, enthusiastic
  • Customer centric
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • Empathetic and a problem solver
  • A Change Champion for processes and products for colleagues and customers.
  • A multitasker - talk/type with the customer whilst researching resolution and maintaining customer engagement
