We are looking for a determined and ambitious person to join our hard working and intricate team. The successful candidate will be working closely alongside staff across the company teams. This is a great opportunity to enhance your administration knowledge and experience while working towards SCQF Level 6 in Digital Application Support.

What might a day in this role look like?
 
You will provide a co-ordinated, integrated administrative support service for the company membership and activities undertaken by the Business Delivery Team:
 
  • Provide an integrated administrative support function across the company
  • Provide exceptional administration and daily oversight of the company membership and grading functions, including the company database
  • Provide an exceptional first-line telephone answering/enquiry service
  • Provide a warm, welcoming and professional reception area for clients, customers, partners and other visitors
  • Maintain the reception area and meeting room to the highest of standards
  • Assist in implementing appropriate monitoring systems across the Business Support, Business Delivery and Performance Development Teams
  • Produce regular performance reports for Business Support activity as appropriate
  • Adhere to the company financial procedures manual
  • Maintain financial records in accordance with the company’s financial policies and procedures
  • Protect confidential information and adhere to the policies, procedures and processes of the company
  • Uphold the core values of and positively promote the company as the national governing body at all times
  • Operate within the company’s Equal Opportunities policies and strive to achieve any required equality targets
  • Contribute to staff events where required
  • Willing to work outside normal office hours including weekends and evenings as and when required in order to meet the requirements of the job
  • Conduct other appropriate duties across the organisation as requested by your Line Manager or Chief Executive Officer.
 
What will I learn?
 
SCQF Level 6 in Digital Application Support.
 
What qualifications/skills are required?
 
  • National 5 or above in Administration or a relevant discipline or any work experience in or related to administration
  • A high level of computer literacy/IT skills including a comprehensive, demonstrable understanding of Microsoft Office and other software packages
  • Experience of working as part of a cohesive team
  • Confident over the phone and confident in answering emails efficiently.
