Based in our practice at Westside Plaza, you will manage all aspects of patient care using our bespoke practice management software including making appointments, maintaining patient database and communicating by email with patients and suppliers. You will work towards SVQ Level 3/4 Digital Applications Support.

What might a day in this role look like?

• Candidates manage all aspects of patient care using our bespoke practice management software, i-Clarity
• Using i-Clarity, candidates will make appointments, add notes relevant to patients’ appointments and send electronic communications
• i-Clarity also has correspondence functions via export to Word and mail merge, audit functions via export to Excel and marketing modules
• Each individual optical machine has its own patient database that candidates will navigate as part of their day-to-day responsibilities
• Email communications with patients and suppliers will be managed by Rackspace Webmail.

 
What will I learn?
 
SVQ Level 3 / 4 in Digital Applications Support.
 
What qualifications/skills are required?

• No minimum qualifications required
• We are seeking outgoing and customer-focused individuals who are comfortable in welcoming patients into the practice. You should be well presented and able to demonstrate good communication skills and strive for excellence in the form of customer service. You do not need any experience, but we are seeking individuals who have drive and determination.
• Age 16 - 19 preferred.
