You will undertake a variety of duties including dealing with emails and phone calls, booking jobs for engineers and ordering stock. This is an ideal job if you are looking to kickstart your career in the world of administration. You will work towards SCQF Level 6 Diploma in Digital Applications Support.

Office based.
 
What might a day in this role look like?
 
You will be using many systems within the workplace such as CASH, Signable, Paymentsense and Gocashless to do the following duties:
 
  • Booking in jobs for the engineers
  • Arranging surveys for the sales team
  • Dealing with incoming emails using Outlook
  • Taking payments using our bespoke finance systems
  • Creating and chasing invoices
  • Closing down jobs
  • Ordering stock
  • Dealing with incoming and outgoing calls
  • Ad hoc duties for the Managing Director.
 
What will I learn?
 
  • Our Digital Applications apprenticeship programme combines high-quality classroom training and on-the-job experience to develop your ability to confidently use digital applications in the workplace
  • SCQF Level 6 Diploma in Digital Applications Support (equivalent to working at Higher and National Certificate level)
  • SCQF Level 6 PC Passport.
 
What qualifications/skills are required?
 
  • No minimum qualifications
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Willingness to learn
  • Eager to succeed
  • Great organisational skills
  • Ambition and strong work ethic
  • Works well as part of a tram but also independently
  • Age 16-19 preferred.
