Environment: We recruit on behalf of various employers across Edinburgh and the Lothians who are looking for young people to train in office administrative job roles. These are all office based roles. What might a day in this role look like? The job roles vary but can include: Administration - dealing with the mail/emails, photocopying, scanning, filing, using computer packages to input data, create letters, reports or charts, order stock, liaise with customers and colleagues via email, telephone and face-to-face. Reception - meet and greet visitors, book rooms, taxis, spa, restaurant, issue keys, take telephone calls, take payments and issue receipts, liaise with colleagues in different departments. What will I learn? You will be trained in the full job role by experienced staff and there are areas where you can progress to different job roles. We will also help you to achieve a Modern Apprenticeship in Business and Administration at Level 3. This is a work-based qualification with no studying and no exams. Once you have completed your qualification, you will receive Certification from City & Guilds. What qualifications/skills are required? No qualifications are necessary but having a pleasant manner, friendly personality, keen to learn new skills, good time-keeping and willing to ask questions if unsure are important for these job roles.
