Environment: Working in a small team in our Edinburgh head office at Dumbryden Industrial Estate, you will undertake work in the office, laboratory and the equipment store. Work will also be required on site (out of office) throughout Scotland as and when required. We have a small team of 12 employees. Our staff are office based, although some work from home from time to time. What might a day in this role look like? You will be trained in analysing material samples for asbestos content (asbestos bulk analysis). Prior to authorisation in this task, you will be required to participate in in-house training and then sit the BOHS P401 exam. You will also be required to undertake air monitoring and fibre counting for asbestos. You will participate in in-house training and be required to sit the BOHS P403 exam.
