Environment: Our people are vital to our continued success and as a Trainee Auditor, you will help contribute to delivering quality and relevant audit work across a variety of clients and, in doing so, you will add real value to the development and scoping of audit plans. We offer a flexible working environment of home and office working as well as some travel to client sites. What might a day in this role look like? Over the duration of the programme, you will likely work within a number of different teams on a range of audits across the public sector, including local and central government and the NHS. This will see you work across the organisation in both financial audit and performance and best value audit. Appointment to local audit teams will be agreed by Audit Scotland’s senior management and are aimed at helping to build experience within the professional field of audit. As a school or college leaver, you will also join up with our graduate trainees and have peer support while you learn the job and engage with your studies. What will I learn?
