Over the duration of the programme, you will help your team to plan and deliver quality audit work across a range of public sector bodies, including local and central government and the NHS. You will contribute to the development and delivery of audits whilst also undertaking a programme of training with a view to becoming a professionally qualified accountant. You will also join up with our graduate trainees and have peer support while you learn the job and engage with your studies. What will I learn? Our programme includes financial support to become a qualified Chartered Accountant with ICAS. You’ll gain a prestigious, internationally recognised qualification, while being involved in varied and interesting work, auditing public bodies in Scotland. We will provide you with ongoing support throughout your training and will encourage you to grow, develop and excel in a challenging and rewarding role. What qualifications/skills are required? You don’t need to have come straight from school or college to apply for our programme. No matter what your background, if you are committed to studying for a professional qualification, our programme is designed to develop your skills and expertise in audit and provide formal training and study towards a professional accountancy qualification.
Candidates with an honour’s degree in any discipline or equivalent are unable to be considered for our school and college leaver programmes.
