We’re looking for an enthusiastic individual to enter the fast-changing world of identity security. This role will suit someone who is keen to learn the concept of identity and access management and how access controls are monitored. You will work towards Information Technology and Telecommunications at SCQF Level 6.

What might a day in this role look like?
 
Your key responsibilities will include:
 

• learning about security and identity management
• assisting with the day to day management and provisioning of new users, movers and leavers across the firm
• working with security tools to investigate access issues
• helping automate processes
• assisting with audit requests and access review program
• working with the business ensuring our policies and controls protect the integrity and security of our systems.

 
What will I learn?
 
The programme will provide a combination of classroom based and on the job training to allow you to achieve an SVQ in Information Technology and Telecommunications at SCQF Level 6.

What qualifications/skills are required?
 

• National 5 or equivalent in Maths and English, as a minimum
• A passion for technology is essential
• Good problem-solving skills
• The ability to work well in a team
• The curiosity to learn and a willingness to ask questions
• A customer focus
• The communication skills to explain technical issues to non-technical people.
