As our business continues to grow, we are actively seeking dynamic Trainee Site Managers to become an integral part of our Building Division in Scotland. This role is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for construction, especially those looking to embark on a career in Site Management. A trade background in joinery would be highly advantageous.
 
What might a day in this role look like?

• Assist in overseeing daily on-site operations and ensure compliance with safety regulations
• Work closely with the Site Management team to learn all aspects of site management including project planning, staff supervision, and quality control
• Coordinate with various stakeholders including clients, subcontractors, and site personnel
• Contribute to the management of project resources and materials
• Help in maintaining accurate project documentation and site reports
• Participate in meetings and training sessions to enhance knowledge and skills
• Ensure that all construction activities align with the project timeline and quality standards.

 
What will I learn?
 
You will attend college for the Technical Apprenticeship - HNC Construction Management and SVQ Level 3, with the option to carry on and complete the Graduate Apprenticeship in Construction and the Built Environment.
 
What qualifications/skills are required?

• A background in joinery or a related trade
• Strong interest in developing a career in Site Management
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Basic knowledge of construction practices and safety regulations
