What will I learn? We want you to get as much as you can from this programme so, after an EY induction, you’ll get straight to work on client projects which often involve difficult or complex situations which need to be navigated. You can expect to be contributing to these challenging projects, identifying and understanding not only clients’ financial and operational issues, but how their business and industry works too. You'll learn on the job from the start and you'll learn to make quick, practical decisions and work through problems decisively. As you progress through the programme, you’ll get to do all this with more autonomy and responsibility. You'll have lots of support from your team while completing your professional qualification as well as various in-house training opportunities. By the end of the programme, you’ll have over 4 years’ experience, a professional qualification with the Institute of Chartered Accounts of Scotland (ICAS) and great network to continue building a career from. What qualifications/skills are required? We operate an open access policy, meaning we don’t screen out applications on your academic performance alone. You will, however, need a minimum of grade C National 5 (or equivalent) in English and Maths, and to have completed 5 Highers (or equivalent) by the time the programme starts.
