We primarily support the Naval Defence and Marine industries, providing complete solutions to customer needs from analysis of initial customer requirements right through to commissioning and support.
Generally indoors, workshop, production environment.
What might a day in this job look like?
You will be closely supervised and a supervisor/craftsperson will be available to provide mentoring whilst you are part of the team.

What will I learn?
After your 4 year apprenticeship, you will become a "time served" engineering craftsperson, employed as a test technician, machine operator, fitter or welder depending on the chosen trade.
With further training and experience, you can progress to Team Leader, Production Planning & Scheduling or alternatively, qualify into specialist roles such as Quality Assurance, Production Engineering , Engineering Design and Technical Support.
What Qualifications / Qualities are required?
National 4 or above in Mathematics, English (preferably National 5) and any other two National 4 qualifications.
