Working with teams in housing management and front-line services, you can work towards a career in housing as part of an expanding, innovative and awarding winning service. You will support Housing Officers as part of a team responsible for managing and supporting projects committed to developing and improving services. You will undertake SVQ Level 2/3 in Housing.
The City of Edinburgh Council Apprenticeship Programme offers new entrants to the labour market the chance of paid employment combined with the opportunity to do training relevant to the occupational area. They include the opportunity to gain nationally recognised qualifications that help kick-start a career without having to study full-time. New entrants can include school and college leavers, those with no previous work experience and/or vocational qualifications.
The role will support the provision of a range of housing management and information and advice services to improve the quality of life of our customers, including tenants, homeless people, residents and the neighbours of our tenants’ homes.
