The School of Philosophy, Psychology and Language Sciences (PPLS) consists of three subject areas with dedicated academic staff, and School-wide administrative support. You will work in the student services teams across the School and rotate between the teams following a planned schedule, and undertake a Modern Apprenticeship qualification in Business and Administration (SCQF Level 6).

The School of Philosophy, Psychology and Language Sciences (PPLS) consists of three subject areas with dedicated academic staff, and School-wide administrative support – School Operations, HR, Finance, Research, Knowledge Exchange and Impact, Communications, Recruitment and Marketing, IT, Facilities and the Undergraduate (UG), Postgraduate (PG) and Student Support offices. The School’s staff profile consists of c300 academic and c80 professional services staff. The School is currently located over two sites in the central campus: Dugald Stewart Building and Watson Building.
The post holder will work in the student services teams across the School, with teams ranging in size from 4 to 7. The post holder will rotate between the teams following a planned schedule, the details of which will be agreed on appointment. A lead line manager will be allocated throughout the placement, with local team managers providing guidance, support and detailed work schedule during the term with their teams.
